Thank you for your interest in Junipero Serra High School
and being part of the next generation of Serra Cavaliers!
 
For the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years, prospective freshmen and transfer students and families are invited to experience Junipero Serra High School first-hand. You are encouraged to find out more about what it's like to be a Serra Cavalier. Take advantage of these opportunities!
 
Please RSVP for and attend our Open House by clicking on the Admissions tab above. Our first Open House is on Saturday, October 20th from 10:30 am-12 pm. Additionally, please RSVP for and attend our Tuition and Financial Aid Workshop by clicking on the Admissions tab above. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 24th from 6:00-7:00 pm. 
 

Be a Cavalier! Applications for the Spring 2019 semester (transfer students only) and the 2019-20 school year are due!
  1. Complete the online application or pick one up from the Main Office.
  2. Register to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) exam at Serra. The HSPT is for freshmen only.
  3. Schedule your prospective student interview. 
  4. Submit transcripts and (2) evaluations:
    • Official Transcripts
      • Freshmen: Grades 6-8. Please give to the school you attend. Instruct the school to complete, and email Raquel Armenta (rarmenta@la-serrahs.org) or mail a sealed envelope to Serra (14830 S. Van Ness Ave., Gardena, CA 90249).
      • Transfers: Send your complete high school transcript. Please give to the school you attend. Instruct the school to complete, and email Raquel Armenta (rarmenta@la-serrahs.org) or mail a sealed envelope to Serra (14830 S. Van Ness Ave., Gardena, CA 90249).
    • Two Evaluations
      • One from an English teacher AND one from a math teacher. Please give to the school. you attend. Instruct the school to complete, and send a sealed envelope to Serra (14830 S. Van Ness Ave., Gardena, CA 90249).
