'Cavaliers of the Month' is Now Complete

The 'Cavaliers of the Month' program is the brainchild of Principal Jeff Guzman to celebrate our gifted and talented students. Each month, faculty and staff nominate and vote on students from the freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior class that are living out the 'Cavalier Code.'

 

Students are recognized via a public address announcement to the campus community, or at a school mass or event. Each student receives a specially designed white polo shirt emblazoned with the symbol of St. Junipero Serra. Students may wear the polo anytime during the school year.

At the conclusion of the year, each student's photo will be removed from the wall and given the student's family as a keepsake. An art wall filled with words that describe the Serra Family will fill the empty spaces until new students are announced beginning in September 2017.

 

Earlier this year, the area was remodeled and benches were repainted and adorned with "You Shall Be My Witnesses" and "Siempre Adelante."
