Memoir I remember going to play Verb at Jackie Robinson Stadium. It just so happened to be on the the same night as the biggest party (to us, I guess) of the year, the infamous Palladium. We had planned weeks ahead for this thing so we could not wait. I told everyone to calm down. I was the starting pitcher that day. To make a long story short, I struck out 14 in less than an hour and we went to party. SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS-HOUSE!!!!! BASEBALL AWARD WAS MINE!!!!!!!!! CLASS OF "92" I love y'all...
