Junipero Serra High School proudly presents the popular musical, Aladdin. The general public has three opportunities to take-in performances:
  1. Thursday, May 12, 7:00 p.m.
  2. Saturday, May 14, 7:00 p.m.
  3. Sunday, May 15, 2:00 p.m.
Serra Cavaliers will bring to life the well-known tale of a poor young man that discovers a genie in a lamp and uses his wishes to marry the princess that he loves and to thwart the Sultan's evil Grand Vizier.
Ismael Saucedo, who will play the role of Aladdin, is excited with the challenge of being the main character. "We cannot wait to perform! All of the hallmarks of a Disney play--comedy, romanticism and morality--will come to life. You're going to enjoy it," said the junior.
Ticket prices are as follows:
  • Pre-sale: $5 Available at the Main Office
  • At the door:
    • Adults: $7
    • Children: $5
Adriana Encelan, an alumna and Serra’s drama instructor, is looking forward to showcasing the students’ talent. “Our actors have meticulously prepared for the three shows over a four-day period. We’re excited to showcase this preparation as I think audiences will be thoroughly entertained. You won’t want to miss it,” said Encelan.
