Fireworks to Highlight Junipero Serra High School’s 2015 ‘Sweet Dreams’ Homecoming Week

--
Junipero Serra High School is gearing up for its annual homecoming tradition taking place Monday to Saturday, October 12-17, 2015. Chosen by members of the Serra student body, this year’s theme is delectably entitled ‘Sweet Dreams.’

Lisa McDorman, Serra’s director of student life, has feverishly worked with the Associated Student Body (ASB) team to prepare an eventful week for the entire Serra community. She said, “The best part of being a Cavalier, young and old, is when we come together as a family—which is often. This is one of the best weeks of the year as the buzz on campus is second to none. And don’t miss the fireworks Friday night!”

More than just a football game, ‘Sweet Dreams’ homecoming week is a time when Serra alumni from around the country return home to reconnect with classmates, teachers, staff, coaches, priests, brothers and friends.

Development Director, Joe Cormier, class of 1981, summed up what homecoming means to the Serra family. “It’s a grand celebration! What a week it will be, and I can’t wait.”
