MALIBU, Calif - The West Coast Conference announced its 2014-15 Academic All-Conference team today and Pepperdine's Bria Richardson was named to the list.

Richardson is one of 10 players to earn the honor. The Waves' Krista Pettepier also earned honorable mention on the list. To earn the award, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.

Richardson (Hawthorne, Calif./Serra HS) leads the Waves in scoring and is eighth in the conference with 14.8 points per game this season. The senior liberal arts major has a 3.31 GPA. It is her second time being named to the WCC All-Academic team after also earning the honor last year.
