Serra represents across the country in January’s All-American bowl games

Gardena, CA, October 1, 2014: For the second year in a row, Serra is representing at two All-American Bowl games – both on the field and on the sidelines. Seniors Rasheem Green and Stanley Norman will be on the field at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game, while head coach Scott Altenberg will be coaching the West team. This is the second time in as many years that Altenberg will be a head coach at the U.S. Army All-American bowl. “It’s a huge honor for me, and for the school, that they appreciate what we’re doing here. For a small school like ours to be represented on the national stage is a giant accomplishment.” The U.S. Army All-American Bowl will take place on January 3, 2015 in the San Antonio Alamodome, and will be televised live on NBC.

Across the country in St. Petersburg, Florida, Senior John Houston will be playing in the Under Armour All-America game on January 2, 2015. A younger tradition than the U.S. Army game, this event has gained traction over the years for drawing elite athletes and D1 attention, especially because of its affiliation with ESPN.
