Santa Monica, CA, May 3, 2014: The West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation (WCSMF) Board of Directors awarded a $1,500 College Scholarship to Carl Norwood, a senior, on Saturday night. The scholarship will be paid directly to the college institution of his choice, to be used for books, tuition, and school expenses.
Carl and two other Cavaliers, Malik Roberson and Joshua Thomas, attend the Scholarship Award Ceremony on Saturday May 3, 2014 at the Charity Wine and Food event at the Lexus Santa Monica Dealership in Santa Monica, CA. They received awards presented by Dr. Keith Feder, M.D. on behalf of the WCSMF. Dr. Feder has had a long relationship with Serra, providing invaluable mentoring, training and internships to our student-athletes.
The Serra administration chose Carl to honor him for all of his hard work, dedication, responsibility and leadership as a senior. He has not only participated on the track team but was a key member of the training staff throughout the year.
