This week Serra students and parents can earn service hours by decoration bags for the Relay for Life Gardena. Bag decoration takes place this Wednesday, July 17th from 2:30 to 5:00pm and Thursday, July18th from 2:30 to 4:30 in the Library. Each student or parent has to complete four bags in order to receive one hour of service. This is a great opportunity to earn Christian Service hours for students.
Students are reminded that they are required to have 20 Christian Service hours complete before the end of the school year. Parents have to complete 40 to 50 Parent Service hours. Students and parents can sign in with Ms. McDorman. Bags will be checked for neatness and overall creativity. There is a limited supply of bags: therefore, bags will be given out on a first come first served basis.
