8th Grade Friday Night Lights
Welcome Future Cavaliers!
We wish to invite you to enjoy all the festivities that our Homecoming game has to offer on
Friday, October 6, 2023 starting with a BBQ at 5PM that has been especially planned for you and the
other 8 th graders. Once you’ve filled up on hotdogs and other goodies, you’ll be escorted to a reserved
section set aside for just the future class of 2028, located in our Kretzschmar Stadium.
We guarantee you’ll be excited while watching our Cavalier football team take on Notre Dame
that night. At this moment Serra’s football team is ranked 12 th in the state of California! If football isn’t
your thing, our award winning Lady Cavalier cheerleaders will amaze you with their spirit, cheers and
tumbling.
Because this is homecoming, the 2023 Homecoming king and queen will be crowned and then
driven around the field by a horse drawn carriage and of course, a Serra Homecoming wouldn’t be
complete without its spectacular fireworks show-yes fireworks! The conclusion of half time will be our
cheerleaders performing center stage on the 50-yard line. Their planned performance has only been
seen once and that was prior to an Angels game at Anaheim Stadium.
So, please be our guest and join us for Homecoming on October 6 th at 5PM. Below, just click on
