Serra grad Crystal King hosts photography exhibit

Torrance, CA, August 22, 2014:  The first place Crystal King ’11 visited when she got the news that her photography exhibit was approved was her alma mater, Serra High School. “I wanted to see Mr. Reeves and tell him I did it!” she beamed. Jason Reeves, a veteran teacher of eight years, taught Crystal in English and in the Yearbook Club.

Says Reeves, “As a teacher, events like this make us proud. Someone is following their dream and using their God-given talent.” King organized the event from top to bottom, and will use the experience as a springboard to launch more events that feature fellow photographers at the studio where she works, Casasola Photography in Torrance.
