Greetings New & Returning Parents:
All parents are encouraged to become involved in our fantastic Booster Club! In this age of limited budgets, a strong Booster Club is needed to help our school thrive. At Serra, we have an amazing tradition of athletic success, but our student-athletes need your help to keep this success alive. Please join the Booster Club as a board member or member at large and give your child the benefit of your involvement at Serra. It is fun to be involved and you will be helping at the same time!
In the 2013-2014 academic year, the Boosters raised over $37,000 for our students and programs at Serra. We need your help to increase this goal for the 2014-2015 school year.
The last Booster Club meeting of the year will occur on Thursday, May 15th at 630p in Rm. 311. All interested parents should attend this meeting. Nominations will be taken at this meeting for the open Board Member positions. Final selection of positions will occur in June. Please see second page for information on the Booster Club & Open Positions.
A new change for the 2014-2015 school year, we will be asking 1 parent from each sport to sit on the Booster Club as an at-large representative.

The Booster Club of Serra High School has the following objectives:
The Booster Club of Serra High School has the following objectives:
- To provide financial support to the athletic & academic programs through strategic outreach and fundraisers.
- To unite parents and provide activities of interest that strengthens the larger parent community.
- Foster and develop school pride within the student body, parents, and outside community.
In order to reach these objectives, the Booster Club engages in the following:
- Meet monthly to plan upcoming events and discuss other club matters (9x / year)
- Organize and oversee 1 large scale fundraiser (1 per year)
- Oversee all football game day operations: parking lot, vendors, volunteers, etc. (5-8x/year)
- Recruit and engage parent volunteers for events throughout the year (varies)
- Coordinate Sports Banquets (3x/ year)
- Manage and run the snack bar at home athletic events (15-30x/ year)
- Sell souvenirs at athletic/academic events and maintain the online store website (varies)
Booster Club meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 630pm.
