Called and Chosen Discipleship Retreat (LIFE Team/Music Ministry/ASB)

Where: St. Anne in the Mountains, Catholic Retreat Center, 30480 Fredalba Rd, Running Springs, CA 92382

WhatThe retreat theme is “Called and Chosen” and will provide the beginning to the LIFE Team, Music Ministry, and ASB Serra High School leadership journey.  This retreat will offer a significant time of prayer, facilitate reflection of their own life and journey with God and community, provide leadership training, and promote community building.  In addition, this retreat will serve as a time to cement what it truly means to be called and chosen as Christian disciples and leaders in this world and within our Serra community.

Cavaliers for Christ Freshman Retreat

When: August 10 11, 2023

Where: Santiago Retreat Center, 27912 Baker Canyon Rd., Silverado, CA 92676

Cost: Included in student tuition

What: The retreat theme is “Cavaliers for Christ" and will provide an introduction to school expectations, the Cavalier Code, team building and leadership skills, as well as significant time of prayer and reflection of their own life and journey with God, themselves and others.  In addition, this retreat will serve as a time to get to know what it truly means to be a “Serra man/woman” as well as get to know their classmates better at the beginning of the school year.

Sophomore Class Retreat "Love No Matter What"

When: September 14, 2023 

Where: On campus

WhatThe retreat theme is “Love No Matter What” and will offer significant time for sophomore class community building, prayer, reflection of their own life and journey with God and community.  It will focus on loving all no matter what the circumstance.  Emergency Numbers:

Junior Class Retreat - "The Great I AM"

When: February 1, 2024

Where: Sacred Heart Retreat Center —St. Joseph Campus 

Cost: No additional cost.

What: The retreat theme is “The Great I AM” and will provide an opportunity for students to examine the person they have become, to develop a better understanding and appreciation of the gift that God made them to be, and continue to grow and develop their relationship with God and with others in their class.  This is a prayerful experience for students to begin the identify who God is to them personally before they enter their last year of high school.

Senior Class Retreat - "Astonished"

When: January 17-19, 2024 or March 6-8, 2024 (seniors choose one option only)

Where: Alpine Camp Retreat Center, Blue Jay, CA

What: The retreat theme is “Astonished” and will provide a summit to the Serra High School experience, that devotes significant time of prayer and reflection of their own life and journey with God, themselves and others.  In addition, this retreat will serve as a time to cement what it truly means to be a “Serra man/woman” before leaving for college. 

Cost: There are no additional retreat costs, other than money for one fast food lunch on the way to the campsite.

Parents: One parent/guardian MUST attend the parent meeting and submit all required paperwork in order for the child to attend this retreat.
